{"id":28892,"date":"2025-01-09T10:04:06","date_gmt":"2025-01-09T15:04:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/studio-100-film-adds-rally-from-paris-to-the-pyramids-to-slate\/"},"modified":"2025-01-09T11:44:05","modified_gmt":"2025-01-09T16:44:05","slug":"studio-100-film-adds-rally-from-paris-to-the-pyramids-to-slate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/studio-100-film-adds-rally-from-paris-to-the-pyramids-to-slate\/","title":{"rendered":"Studio 100 Film Adds Rally\u2014From Paris to the Pyramids to Slate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Studio 100 Film has acquired the animated feature<em> Rally\u2014From Paris to the Pyramids<\/em>, produced by Qvisten Animation (<em>Captain Sabertooth<\/em>, <em>Cattle Hill<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>Written by Rob Sprackling (<em>Gnomeo &amp; Juliet<\/em>, <em>The Queen\u2019s Corgi<\/em>, <em>Heidi\u2013Rescue of the Lynx<\/em>) in collaboration with Karsten Fullu, the action movie follows a brilliant, eccentric inventor and his friends, a daring magpie and a timid hedgehog, as they attempt to compete in the legendary Paris-to-the-Pyramids rally, racing from the city streets of Paris through the perilous Italian Alps and on to the scorching Egyptian desert.<\/p>\n<p>The film is directed by Norwegian filmmaker Rasmus A. Sivertsen (<em>Captain Sabertooth and the Countess of Grel<\/em>, <em>Captain Sabertooth and the Magic Diamond<\/em>, <em>Three Robbers and a Lion<\/em>,<em> In the Forest of Huckybucky<\/em>). It is inspired by the universe of Norwegian creator Kjell Aukrust and the iconic Il Tempo Gigante, one of the most beloved cars in Norway\u2019s automotive culture.<\/p>\n<p><em>Rally\u2014From Paris to the Pyramids<\/em> is set for delivery this year and will be distributed in Scandinavia by Nordisk Film Distribution during Christmas 2025. Studio 100 Film will present the movie at this year\u2019s European Film Market (EFM).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKjell Aukrust loved fast cars and bold journeys,\u201d Sivertsen said. \u201cThis film captures that spirit with unforgettable characters and a race like no other.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lorena Booth, senior acquisitions and sales manager at Studio 100 International, added, \u201cWe are thrilled to collaborate with the talented team at Qvisten Animation on this action-packed rally adventure that promises great entertainment for the whole family, especially car enthusiasts.
