Middle sister Adriana trains for the World Championships with her new partner Brayden while still harboring feelings for her first love and former partner Freddie. Her life becomes even more complicated when she and Brayden have to pretend to be a couple off the ice to land a sponsorship deal.<\/p>\n<p>The eight-part adaptation is set to begin filming in February and will premiere at a later date with a first run on Family Channel in Canada and exclusively on Netflix in the rest of the world, with a second run in Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Award-winning Canadian author and executive producer Jeff Norton (<em>Geek Girl<\/em>) is serving as showrunner.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to be working with Netflix and Family Channel on this terrific new series,\u201d said Stephanie Betts, executive VP of content creation at WildBrain. \u201c<em>Finding Her Edge<\/em> is both modern and timeless and a perfect addition to our robust offering of original Canadian live-action series.
