Work is underway on a slate of animated projects inspired by tales and iconic characters from MENA and South Asia.<\/p>\n<p>The first wave of content will debut in early 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCustom Nuts and Baboon have always been inspired by the rich, diverse cultures of South Asia and the MENA region, where anime enjoys a dedicated following,\u201d\u00a0said Silas Hickey, co-founder of Custom Nuts. \u201cTogether with AzCorp, we\u2019re taking the region\u2019s unique, beloved stories and reimagining them to also reach a global audience.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKids everywhere should be able to see themselves in the cartoons they watch,\u201d commented Emily Kaye, head of development at Baboon. \u201cThis is a top priority for Baboon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mike de Seve (<em>Madagascar<\/em>, <em>Angry Birds<\/em>), CEO of Baboon, added, \u201cThis alliance will help do just that.
