Following its acquisition of Jetpack Distribution, CAKE has brought on former Jetpack CEO Dominic Gardiner to head up distribution, alongside more changes to its distribution, sales and marketing divisions.<\/p>\n
The deal between the companies has doubled the size of CAKE\u2019s kids and family catalog. Gardiner has been named managing director of distribution, leading the sales, marketing and acquisitions teams of CAKE\u2019s distribution arm.<\/p>\n

Toby Jones, Jetpack\u2019s former sales manager, has boarded CAKE as senior sales manager, working alongside veteran sales director Julien Farcat, both of whom will be reporting to Gardiner. CAKE\u2019s group CEO, Ed Galton, will continue to oversee CAKE\u2019s four main businesses: CAKE Distribution, CAKE Production, Popcorn Digital and Kickstart Production.<\/p>\n
New series carried over from Jetpack and added to CAKE\u2019s catalog include icons such as Dennis and Gnasher Unleashed<\/em>, Moley<\/em>, Talking Tom and Friends<\/em>, Mechamato<\/em>, The Clangers<\/em> and more.<\/p>\n Galton said, \u201cCombining the efforts and knowledge base that Dom and Toby bring from Jetpack with CAKE\u2019s expertise enables us to offer an enhanced sales and marketing business, taking the best of what Jetpack has to offer and fusing it with the best of CAKE.<\/p>\n \u201cThis creates a much better service (and product!) for the buyers we sell to and the producers and creators we partner with.
