Paper Owl Films\u2019 L\u00ed Ban<\/em> is set to make its international debut at MIPCOM 2024 and launch on Ireland\u2019s C\u00fala4\/TG4 and Wales\u2019 S4C in the Welsh language in October.<\/p>\n

The 13×11-minute Celtic-inspired series takes place in an ancient world of gods and monsters and follows 12-year-old L\u00ed Ban\u2019s quest for answers about why she was transformed into a mermaid and who destroyed her home. Aardman is handling international distribution of the series.<\/p>\n

L\u00ed Ban\u2019s adventures are based on Celtic legends that have been passed down for generations. As her quest unfolds, she meets Manann\u00e1n the sea god and learns what the real meaning of family is.<\/p>\n

Sadbh Breathnach voices L\u00ed Ban, and Jude Petticrew voices Con, L\u00ed Ban\u2019s faithful dog who transforms into an otter.<\/p>\n
