In celebration of this year’s Heritage Month, BBC Studios is translating seven bedtime stories on CBeebies into four African languages.<\/p>\n
Dubbed in IsiZulu, Sesotho, Xitsonga and Afrikaans, the episodes will air on CBeebies from September 2 to 29 and will also become available on the BBC Studios Africa YouTube channel. Translated shows across all four languages will include Goldilocks and the Three Bears<\/em>, The Elves and the Shoemaker<\/em>, The Enormous Radish<\/em> and more, while the “Sleepy Time” episode of Bluey<\/em> will be translated to IsiZulu only.<\/p>\n Pierre Cloete, commercial director at BBC Studios in Africa, said, “To mark Heritage Month and celebrate the diversity of our nation, we wanted to shine a spotlight on some of our African languages with the help of our preschool channel CBeebies.
