{"id":28144,"date":"2024-08-26T10:04:15","date_gmt":"2024-08-26T14:04:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/the-childrens-kingdom-youtube-kids-launch-online-safety-campaign\/"},"modified":"2024-08-26T10:04:18","modified_gmt":"2024-08-26T14:04:18","slug":"the-childrens-kingdom-youtube-kids-launch-online-safety-campaign","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/the-childrens-kingdom-youtube-kids-launch-online-safety-campaign\/","title":{"rendered":"The Children\u2019s Kingdom &#038; YouTube Kids Launch Online Safety Campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Together with YouTube Kids, The Children\u2019s Kingdom has launched the educational campaign Bartolito\u2019s Awesome Internet Adventures, featuring characters from its series <em>Zenon the Farmer<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The English-language campaign, based on its Spanish counterpart, Las Aventuras de Bartolito en Internet, offers practical tips and tools for kids and their families on how to use the internet safely and responsibility through five short videos with Bartolito, Lola the Cow and Beto the Wolf.<\/p>\n<p>The videos are \u201cShare with Care,\u201d \u201cDon\u2019t Fall for Fake,\u201d \u201cSecure Your Secrets, \u201cIt\u2019s Cool to be King\u201d and \u201cWhen in Doubt, Talk it Out.\u201d They are aligned with the five fundamentals of Google\u2019s Be Internet Awesome program and online initiative.<\/p>\n<p>The scripts for the five videos were overseen by by Bel\u00e9n Igarz\u00e1bal, who has a Ph.D. in social sciences and is a researcher at FLACSO Argentina (Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences). She provided a pedagogical perspective from the start of the project and collaborated on adapting the Be Internet Awesome fundamentals.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are pleased that YouTube Kids chose us earlier this year to continue adding content and working closely together to reach all families around the world,\u201d said Roberto \u201cKuky\u201d Pumar, CEO of Leader Entertainment. \u201cFollowing the success of its Spanish counterpart, Las Aventuras de Bartolito en Internet, which garnered 24 million views and over 300 hours of viewing time in Latin America\u2014leading in Mexico, Argentina, Peru and Colombia in only six months\u2014we are now launching Bartolito\u2019s Awesome Internet Adventures. Our goal is to keep teaching kids the importance of staying safe online, now targeting the English-speaking audience. The campaign also helps them connect with everyday issues, and fosters conversations between kids and their families.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis initiative strengthens our commitment to keeping YouTube\u2019s community safe while offering a viewing experience tailored for children,\u201d added Karina Szmulewicz, strategic partnerships manager for YouTube Family &amp; Learning. \u201cOur goal with this series is to provide family-friendly content with a clear and entertaining message, helping children discover the digital world in a safe and enjoyable way.
