It is written, scripted and designed by G\u00e9za M. T\u00f3th (<em>Maestro<\/em>), founder of KEDD Animation Studio.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPlayfulness lies in the fact that the eternal childlike fantasy is capable of imagining anything in objects and able to create a complex world from the simplest things\u2014wooden cubes, pebbles,\u201d T\u00f3th said. \u201cThe<em> Mitch-Match<\/em> series makes an attempt to trigger this ability from everyone. We decided to use the most basic object\u2014a matchstick\u2014to create a story. The [series] delivers a highly creative and playful animation style with a simplest gesture by bringing matchsticks to life and tries to encourage the audience to put together the pieces of the puzzle. In this filmmaking gesture, I wanted to find a way to bring out the eternal child from everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Carlos Biern, content and distribution director at DeAPlaneta Kids &amp; Family, said, \u201cIt is unusual to find such innovative talent as the creative team behind KEDD Animation Studio. Including in DeAPlaneta Entertainment\u2019s catalog an animated series as groundbreaking, original and imaginative as<em> Mitch-Match<\/em> allows us to reach a young adult and family audience interested in animated productions that fuel their imagination in a unique and unconventional way. We have been working closely with our team at DeAPlaneta Entertainment\u2019s Eastern European office to select and distribute projects that have been produced locally.
