The Canada Media Fund (CMF) and the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de d\u00e9veloppement des entreprises culturelles (SODEC) have come together to support Quebec-made animated series targeted for children and youth in a C$3 million ($2.2 million) initiative.<\/p>\n
The program will facilitate the prototyping of new animated series developed in French with the aim of making available funding from broadcasters, distributors and other national and international partners. Two-thirds of the program budget will be provided by the SODEC and the last third by the CMF.<\/p>\n
Funding may cover up to 80 percent of eligible costs to a maximum of C$500,000 per project.<\/p>\n
