Canada\u2019s Mercury Filmworks (Hilda<\/em>, The Lion Guard<\/em>) and Ireland\u2019s Turnip + Duck (Maddie + Triggs<\/em>) are set to co-produce Bunny McBee<\/em>, an original animated preschool series.<\/p>\n

The 52×5-minute title, created by Andy Coyle (Hilda<\/em>), is currently in development. It follows Bunny, an energetic and curious little bumblebee, and celebrates the joy of outdoor play.<\/p>\n

“We are thrilled to embark on this first-time creative collaboration with Turnip + Duck to co-produce Andy\u2019s enchanting tale,” stated Chantal Ling, VP of original series and co-productions for Mercury Filmworks. “Together, the big-hearted Bunny McBee and his loyal friend Opal will inspire children everywhere to value friendship and teamwork and to get out and explore the wonderous world around them\u2014whether that\u2019s a vast forest or their neighborhood park.”<\/p>\n
