Toon2Tango has signed a co-production agreement with French company Something Big to further the development and production of the upcoming Niko\u2014The Little Reindeer<\/em> series adaptation.<\/p>\n

The 52×11-minute program will follow in the footsteps of the franchise\u2019s feature films, with Niko learning his trade at an academy in the hopes of one day becoming one of Santa\u2019s official reindeers. Toon2Tango plans to begin production in 2025.<\/p>\n

Two Niko\u2014The Little Reindeer<\/em> feature films have already been released, with a third, Niko\u2014Beyond the Northern Lights<\/em>, slated to premiere in theaters in November\/December 2024. The films are produced by Animaker, Anima Vitae, Cinemaker, Ulysses Films, Moetion Films and A.Film Production.<\/p>\n

Toon2Tango acquired the rights to adapt the franchise into a series in 2023. It has developed the concept for series, and the Bible has been written by Jim Nolan (The Tiny Chef Show<\/em>, Hot Wheels<\/em>).<\/p>\n
