Thunderbird Entertainment and tokidoki have signed on new platform partners for Mermicorno: Starfall<\/em> in the U.K., Canada, Latin America and Southeast Asia, as well as a new licensing agent.<\/p>\n

The series, coming to Max in the U.S. in 2025, has been picked up by Warner Bros. Discovery for Cartoon Network in Southeast Asia and Latin America, where it will also stream on Max. It will stream on Max in the Caribbean as well. Additionally, the U.K.\u2019s Narrative Entertainment acquired the series for POP in the U.K., and Canada\u2019s Corus Entertainment licensed it for Treehouse, STACKTV and TELETOON+.<\/p>\n

Also in Canada, Thunderbird Brands has named Nelvana as the series\u2019 Canadian licensing agent, covering all major categories outside of toys and publishing.<\/p>\n

Mermicorno: Starfall <\/em>is inspired by tokidoki\u2019s Mermicorno characer family that launched in 2016. The 26×22-minute series takes place in a magical undersea world, where a team of unicorn-mermaids join together to save the ocean from an evil threat. Throughout their mission, they learn about creative self-expression and new depths of friendship.<\/p>\n

The series is being produced by Atomic Cartoons\u2019 Ottawa studio. Thunderbird Brands and tokidoki are co-managing the consumer products program for the IP.<\/p>\n
