Warner Bros. Animation (WBA), Cartoon Network Studios (CNS) and Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe (HBSE) have slated programming for the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, with highlights including the world premiere screening of The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie<\/em>.<\/p>\n

From WBA, director Pete Browngardt and the creative team behind the Looney Tunes cartoons, The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie<\/em> sees Porky Pig and Daffy Duck become unlikely heroes when facing the threat of an alien invasion on Earth.<\/p>\n

The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim<\/em>, from New Line Cinema and WBA, is set to be distributed theatrically worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures in December. First footage will be unveiled at the festival with a filmmaker conversation.<\/p>\n

More highlights include “making of” sessions about Creature Commandos<\/em>, a DC Studios and Max original, and The Amazing World of Gumball<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Adult Swim, Max and WBA will spotlight their efforts in the adult animation space, as decision-makers preview current and upcoming projects and share their strategies for Warner Bros. Discovery’s success.<\/p>\n
