Yu-Gi-Oh! and Sanrio’s Hello Kitty and Friends have partnered with McDonald\u2019s for a global Happy Meal promotion.<\/p>\n

The promotion will be offered in 55 countries worldwide, kicking off this spring with Belgium, Hungary, the Netherlands, Spain and Greece and expanding to Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Mexico, the Caribbean and a number of Asian markets. It will reach the U.S., including Puerto Rico, this summer.<\/p>\n

The Yu-Gi-Oh! x Hello Kitty and Friends collaboration will feature ten Sanrio characters dressed as Yu-Gi-Oh! monsters.<\/p>\n

\u201cYu-Gi-Oh! and Hello Kitty and Friends are each a global cultural phenomenon in their own right, with fans spanning every corner of the globe across generations,\u201d said Jennifer Coleman, VP of licensing and marketing at Konami Cross Media NY. \u201cWe look forward to working with McDonald’s on this unique collaboration. This Happy Meal promotion will create a must have for anime fans of all ages.\u201d<\/p>\n
