It will center around three pre-teens from different backgrounds who are selected to join a secret school of spies called the Angels Academy.<\/p>\n<p>Each episode will follow the angels as they solve crimes and save the world, all while navigating their first year of spy school. It will retain the iconic brand\u2019s core tenets of high-octane action and comedy, a mysterious boss and empowered female characters.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re excited to have an opportunity to evolve this incredible Sony IP for a younger modern audience,\u201d said Joe D\u2019Ambrosia, executive VP and feneral manager of SPT\u2013Kids. \u201cWe\u2019re leaning into must-see cliffhanger storytelling, while also staying true to the original premise of the show: mystery, adventure, comedy and empowered young females who balance homework, softball practice and being teenagers all while saving the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFloresta\u2019s fiction department was extremely excited to team on this reboot with our partners at SPT\u2013Kids,\u201d commented Thiago Teitelroit, Floresta\u2019s scripted creative director. \u201cIt\u2019s rare for franchises to have crossed so many generations never failing to entertain massive audiences. It\u2019s a unique opportunity not only considering the market, but especially because Brazilian viewers get to explore new venues of enjoyment with such charismatic and timeless characters.
