Cyber Group Studios has promoted Pierre Bela\u00efsch to chief creative officer of the company.<\/p>\n
Bela\u00efsch will now oversee the creative affairs of Cyber Group and set the vision and strategy for its series development slate. He will also oversee creative continuity from the development stage through the production process, ensuring each series meets client expectations and resonates with the target audience.<\/p>\n
He will work closely with Rapha\u00eblle Mathieu, COO, who is in charge of financing the new series, overseeing their production and selling them to broadcasters and streamers worldwide.<\/p>\n
Also in his new role, Bela\u00efsch will supervise the company\u2019s North American development, currently led by six-year company veteran Ira Singerman, and support and coordinate the creative development strategies of Cyber Group\u2019s partner studios, A Productions in Bristol, Graphilm Entertainment in Rome and Scrawl Animation in Singapore.<\/p>\n
Prior to this, Bela\u00efsch spent five years as senior VP of creative development. Over those five years, series such as 50\/50 Heroes<\/em>, Press Start!<\/em>, Alex Player<\/em>, Final Fantasy IX<\/em> and The McFire Family<\/em> were developed.<\/p>\n Before joining Cyber Group, Bela\u00efsch spent six years at Gaumont Animation as chief operating officer and produced animated series such as Calimero<\/em>; Noddy<\/em>; Belle and Sebastian<\/em>; Dude, That\u2019s My Ghost!<\/em>; and Furry Wheels<\/em>. He also spent 11 years at Lagard\u00e8re Channels as general manager of programming and broadcasting, where he created and managed Canal J, Tiji, Filles TV, Virgin17, MCM and Gulli; two years at TF1, where he contributed to the creation of TFOU; and eight years at Leo Burnett as a media planner and key account manager.<\/p>\n As chief creative officer, Bela\u00efsch succeeds Pierre Sissmann.
