{"id":26914,"date":"2024-02-12T10:00:22","date_gmt":"2024-02-12T15:00:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/disney-branded-television-unveils-new-orders-producing-deal\/"},"modified":"2024-02-12T10:01:56","modified_gmt":"2024-02-12T15:01:56","slug":"disney-branded-television-unveils-new-orders-producing-deal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/disney-branded-television-unveils-new-orders-producing-deal\/","title":{"rendered":"Disney Branded Television Unveils New Orders &#038; Producing Deal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Disney Branded Television&#8217;s <em>SuperKitties<\/em> and <em>Pupstruction<\/em> have landed third seasons ahead of their season two debuts.<\/p>\n<p>For preschoolers, <em>SuperKitties<\/em> follows four superhero kittens on their mission to make their town of Kittydale a more caring place. <em>Pupstruction<\/em>, for ages 2 to 5, follows the adventures of an all-dog construction crew.<\/p>\n<p>The animated series are currently airing on Disney Channel and Disney Junior, with some episodes also available to stream on Disney+.<\/p>\n<p>Both series will also be launching new off-air extensions, including a brand-new <em>SuperKitties<\/em> toy line to launch this spring, featuring playsets, figures, plush, costumes, apparel and more. A <em>Pupstruction<\/em> toy line is slated to debut later this year, along with an assortment of children\u2019s books from Disney Publishing Worldwide.<\/p>\n<p><em>SuperKitties<\/em> is produced by Sony Pictures Television \u2013 Kids in association with Disney Junior. <em>Pupstruction<\/em>\u00a0is produced by Titmouse in association with Disney Junior.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;With their adorable characters and heartfelt adventures, these two series have clearly struck a chord with our preschool audience,&#8221; said Ayo Davis, president of Disney Branded Television. &#8220;Both series exude teamwork, optimism, friendship and resilience, and feature some pretty catchy music\u2014just some of the signature qualities that make our Disney Junior programming a hit with kids and families alike.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The company has also inked a wide-ranging deal with Chris Houghton and Shane Houghton, creators and executive producers of Disney Channel\u2019s <em>Big City Greens<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Under this multiyear producing deal, the Houghtons will produce animated projects with Disney Television Animation studio and provide opportunities to develop live-action projects within Disney Branded Television across linear and streaming platforms. Additionally, the deal includes development opportunities for adult animation projects with 20th Television Animation.<\/p>\n<p>Disney Branded Television has also revealed that a fourth <em>Zombies<\/em> movie has been greenlit.<\/p>\n<p>Production will begin next month in New Zealand, with Meg Donnelly and Milo Manheim set to reprise their roles as Addison and Zed, Seabrook\u2019s star-crossed zombie\/cheerleader couple.
