Hidden Pigeon Company (HPC) has named Warner Bros. and Disney alum Karen K. Miller as its new CEO.<\/p>\n
Miller joins HPC from Cyber Group Studios, where she served as president and CEO of its U.S. division and led all operations from the company\u2019s L.A. office. Prior to that, she spent four years at NBCUniversal, eight years at The Walt Disney Company and 17 years at Warner Bros.<\/p>\n
At NBCUniversal, Miller was senior VP of content for the Universal Kids linear network, where she oversaw strategy, development, co-productions and acquisitions across all content and was responsible for audience growth and global franchise development. Before that, she was VP of acquisitions, co-productions and global content strategy for Disney Channels Worldwide, where she created and executed global acquisition strategies and oversaw co-productions for Disney Channel, Disney Junior and Disney XD.<\/p>\n
During her 17 years at Warner Bros., Miller worked as a producer for both animated and live-action family content and as an acquisitions executive within the consumer products business.<\/p>\n
Kathy Franklin, who joined HPC as CEO after 12 years as president of franchise development at Lightstorm Entertainment, will step into an advisory role.<\/p>\n
Hidden Pigeon Company launched in early 2023, created by children\u2019s book author and Emmy winner Mo Willems, Stampede Ventures and RedBird Capital Partners to expand the reach and impact of Willems\u2019 best-selling catalog of children\u2019s books and IP across all entertainment platforms.<\/p>\n
