The series explores a world where humans and insect-shaped robots coexist in harmony but are interrupted when an unknown virus spreads.<\/p>\n<p>The series has been airing in China on Jinying Cartoon, Toonmax, Yooman Cartoon and others; Taiwan on YoYo TV; Hong Kong on Viu TV; Indonesia on RTV; and South Korea on Tooniverse, MBC, AniOne, Cartoon Network and more.<\/p>\n<p>DeAPlaneta will also distribute <em>Bugsbot G<\/em>, the series&#8217; spin-off, outside of Asia.<\/p>\n<p>Carlos Biern, director of distribution and aontents for DeAplaneta Kids &amp; Family, commented: &#8220;<em>Bugsbot Ignition<\/em> is exactly the kind of anime-style IP that DeAPlaneta Entertainment is currently betting on for western territories: a local IP with success in Asia that has the potential to become a global brand. The quality and dynamism of its animation, as well as its action-packed duels and adventurous stories, address hot topics such as environmental awareness and human-machine interaction, ideal for engaging new digital audiences. <em>Bugsbot Ignition<\/em> has also a natural licensing potential thanks to its almost unlimited number of transforming bugs-shaped robots, which have already become hugely successful toys in several countries in Asia.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Steve Sangmin Lee, chief marketing officer for Cocktail Media, added: &#8220;We are delighted by our partnership with DeAPlaneta Entertainment and the global distribution of <em>Bugsbot Ignition<\/em> and <em>Bugsbot G<\/em>.
