The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has unveiled the 2023 Gold & Silver Circle inductees, who will be feted at the second annual Children\u2019s & Family Emmy Awards on December 17.<\/p>\n
New Gold Circle inductees are producer and executive producer Peter Engel (Saved By the Bell<\/em>, One World<\/em>); actor, producer, public relations director, manager and talent booker David Newell (Mister Rogers\u2019 Neighborhood<\/em>, My Tale of Two Cities<\/em>); and producer, creator, innovator and mentor Fred Seibert (Adventure Time<\/em>, The Fairly OddParents<\/em>).<\/p>\n Silver Circle inductees are Vicki Ariyasu, senior VP of content, education and inclusion at Disney Branded Television; Ellen Doherty, chief creative officer of Fred Rogers Productions and executive producer (Cyberchase<\/em>, Odd Squad<\/em>); David Kleeman, strategist, analyst, author, speaker and connector around children\u2019s media; Carol-Lynn Parente, executive producer (Sesame Street<\/em>); Andrea Romano, casting\/voice director (Batman Beyond<\/em>, Pinky and the Brain<\/em>); Tom Ruegger, creator, executive producer and writer (Animaniacs<\/em>, Tiny Toon Adventures<\/em>); and Tara Sorensen, head of children\u2019s programming at Apple TV+.<\/p>\n \u201cThis year’s Gold and Silver honorees are recognized for their outstanding and ongoing contributions to family entertainment,\u201d said Adam Sharp, NATAS\u2019s president and CEO. \u201cTheir excellence as storytellers has entertained and informed viewers for generations.
