Coop Troop<\/em> has been sold to a slew of broadcasters in Europe, Australia and North America following its recent U.K. debut on ITVX.<\/p>\n

ABC (Australia), RT\u00c9 (Ireland), SVT (Sweden), Yle (Finland) and Radio-Canada have picked up the series, with more sales yet to be revealed. The show premiered earlier this year on France T\u00e9l\u00e9visions and Globo Brazil and will air on Tencent Video Kids in China in 2024.<\/p>\n

The 52×11-minute animation is aimed at kids aged 6 to 9. Thirsty for adventure to escape their mundane farm life, the Coop Troop, a gang of five, has a mission to help any animal with a problem.<\/p>\n

Coop Troop<\/em> is a co-production between Sixteen South, Mikros Animation IP, France T\u00e9l\u00e9visions and Tencent Video.<\/p>\n

Colin Williams,\u00a0Sixteen South\u2019s creative director, said: \u201cWe\u2019re absolutely delighted with the response to Coop Troop<\/em> from all corners of the globe\u2014a testament to the universal appeal of this motley group of furry, feathery and woolly rescuers and their hilarious exploits. We wanted to make a retro homage to classic TV series of the 70s and 80s like The A-Team<\/em> which also promoted important messages for today\u2019s kids, such as the value of friendship and working together, and we\u2019re thrilled to see that broadcasters worldwide are loving watching it as much as we\u2019ve enjoyed making it.\u201d<\/p>\n
