The second season of Fia\u2019s Fairies<\/em>, from Little Moon Animation, is set to bow on\u00a0RT\u00c9jr in February 2025.<\/p>\n

Fia\u2019s Fairies<\/em> is designed to introduce young viewers and their families to an\u00a0additional language. The series tells the story of Fia and her best friend as they go on adventures to Fairy Island, where they learn the enchanting Irish language from a pair of fairies and all their magical friends.<\/p>\n

Fia\u2019s Fairies<\/em> stars Dublin-born Alisha Weir (Matilda the Musical<\/em>, Netflix) alongside Elsie Akinduko, Gr\u00e1inne Bleasdale and Doireann N\u00ed Chorrag\u00e1in. Season one began broadcasting on October 31, 2022.<\/p>\n

Following the launch of the successful Fia\u2019s Fairies<\/em> YouTube channel, key highlights of the 26-episode forthcoming season are its introduction of new characters, locations and unique musical episodes.<\/p>\n

Suzanne Kelly, head of children’s and young people’s content at RT\u00c9, said: “I am thrilled that Fia’s Fairies<\/em> season two is returning to RT\u00c9jr in 2025, and I know I’m not the only one that’s excited! This incredibly intuitive language series is back by popular demand for more fun and adventure in Fairy Island. Fia and her best friend Ameer, along with their fairy friends Bl\u00e1ith\u00edn and C\u00fa\u00e1n, have become firm favorites on RT\u00c9jr with our preschool audience and parents, and the clever storylines that embed language learning so seamlessly have delivered wonderful engagement across all of our platforms. We can’t wait!”<\/p>\n

Vanessa Robinson, creator and producer of the series, added: “Our vision for Fia’s Fairies<\/em> has always been clear: to present the Irish language in a modern, accessible and engaging format and to encourage children to become more autonomous language learners. This second season, particularly with its musical focus for young audiences, reaffirms our commitment to this goal, and we are looking forward to seeing our audience connect further with our show.”<\/p>\n

Distributed by Monster Entertainment, Fia’s Fairies<\/em> has also already begun broadcasting in North America and Central Asia.
