The\u00a0<span lang=\"EN\">live-action drama features 2D animation and talking animal VFX. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>Olga da Polga<\/em> stars the real-life couple Julie Wilson Nimmo (<em>Balamory<\/em>), who plays Mrs. Sawdust, and Greg Hempill (<em>Still Game<\/em>) as Mr. Sawdust. Isla Mercer is Karen. Olga is voiced by Lesley Harcourt.<\/p>\n<p>The series is directed by Michael Hines and Andrew Agnew. The lead writer is Sara Daddy (<em>Lily\u2019s Driftwood Bay<\/em>, <em>Puffin Rock<\/em>, <em>Claude<\/em>), with the score composed by Emmy award-winning Welsh composer Brollyman. VFX and animation are provided by Doghouse in Bristol and Interference Pattern in Edinburgh.<\/p>\n<p>Jackie Savery, creative director for Maramedia, said: \u201cIn today&#8217;s troubled times, the funny and engaging stories of Michael Bond\u2019s Olga the guinea pig and her friends offer reassuring and life-affirming stories full of warmth and fun.
