Based in Los Angeles, Rivera will be tasked with developing animated and live-action projects, as well as seeking international co-production partnerships.<\/p>\n<p>Before joining Kickstart, Rivera was VP of development at Cartoon Network Studios, working to identify and shepherd new animated series, including <em>The Invincible Fight Girl<\/em> and <em>Jessica\u2019s Big Little World<\/em>. Her previous roles at Cartoon Network included time on the content acquisitions team and as manager of current series, overseeing such hits as <em>Steven Universe<\/em>, <em>Clarence<\/em> and the reimagined <em>The Powerpuff Girls<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>As Kickstart enters into its 25th year of business, Rivera joins recent hire Susan Corbin, global head of production, as the company continues to build out its creative capabilities.<\/p>\n<p>Kickstart is a producer of <em>Barbie<\/em>, <em>Hot Wheels<\/em> and\u00a0<em>Brown &amp; Friends,<\/em> and outside of the kids&#8217; space, the company produces\u00a0<em>The Boys<\/em> and <em>Gen V<\/em>. Kickstart continues to produce the Bentonville Film Festival, founded by Geena Davis and celebrating its 10th anniversary next June.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am thrilled to be joining Kickstart Entertainment,\u201d said Rivera. \u201cTheir commitment to producing exceptional content that resonates with global families aligns perfectly with my own creative vision.
