{"id":25932,"date":"2023-10-03T08:21:56","date_gmt":"2023-10-03T12:21:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/fireman-sam-polly-pocket-come\/"},"modified":"2023-10-03T08:21:56","modified_gmt":"2023-10-03T12:21:56","slug":"more-fireman-sam-polly-pocket-to-come","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/more-fireman-sam-polly-pocket-to-come\/","title":{"rendered":"More Fireman Sam, Polly Pocket to Come"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>WildBrain and Mattel have revealed that<em> Fireman Sam<\/em> is headed into a 16th season, while <em>Polly Pocket<\/em> is gearing up for its sixth.<\/p>\n<p>There are 26 new 10-minute CGI episodes for <em>Fireman Sam<\/em>, scheduled to begin delivery in spring 2024.<\/p>\n<p><em>Polly Pocket<\/em> will see 38 new 11-minute episodes, slated for delivery in summer 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The new seasons of <em>Fireman Sam<\/em> and <em>Polly Pocket<\/em> are currently in production at WildBrain\u2019s Vancouver animation studio.<\/p>\n<p>WildBrain also secured a multitude of new international distribution deals for previous seasons of both shows, in addition to new deals for the Mattel titles <em>Bob the Builder<\/em> and <em>Little People<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The new greenlights and distribution deals are part of a multiyear co-development, production, distribution and licensing agreement between Mattel and WildBrain.<\/p>\n<p>Caroline Tyre, VP of global sales and rights strategy at WildBrain, said: \u201cWe continue to see great demand around the world for Mattel\u2019s celebrated and treasured kids\u2019 series <em>Fireman Sam<\/em>, <em>Polly Pocket<\/em>, <em>Bob the Builder<\/em> and <em>Little People<\/em>. These shows have established themselves as perennial favorites with kids and families, and we look forward to sharing them with new international audiences.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Alex Godfrey, VP of content distribution at Mattel Television, said: \u201c<em>Fireman Sam<\/em> and <em>Polly Pocket<\/em> have resonated with fans globally for years; it\u2019s fantastic to see the continued support and love for the brands.
