Licensees"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Konami Cross Media NY has signed four new licensing agreements for<em> Yu-Gi-Oh!<\/em> in honor of the trading card game\u2019s 25th anniversary.<\/p>\n<p>Youtooz will bring memorable <em>Yu-Gi-Oh!<\/em> fandom moments to life by creating figures based on memes. The collectibles will be available online in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, the U.K. and Australia.<\/p>\n<p>Ripple Junction will develop and release <em>Yu-Gi-Oh!<\/em> T-shirts, fleece, fashion tops, bottoms, sleep and lounge wear and accessories such as headwear, socks, throw blankets, bags, boxer shorts and cell phone accessories. The collection will be available in the U.S. and Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Displate will offer metallic wall art posters for those looking for<em> Yu-Gi-Oh!<\/em> home decor. The posters will be available worldwide, excluding Asia.<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, Kid\u2019Abord will create a line of <em>Yu-Gi-Oh!<\/em>-inspired back-to-school items for fans in France and French-speaking territories. The collection will feature backpacks, trolly bags, satchels, pencil cases and diary books.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the products from these new licensees will launch starting this year, continuing throughout the 25th anniversary celebration.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe <em>Yu-Gi-Oh!<\/em> Trading Card Game is part of the heart and soul of the franchise,\u201d said Jennifer Coleman, VP of licensing and marketing at Konami Cross Media NY. \u201cAs the game is enjoyed by countless fans in more than 80 countries and nine languages, we are committed to making this a very special and memorable milestone.
