The show follows the adventures of the world\u2019s first all-dog construction company, led by an innovative young corgi named Phinny, who might be the smallest pup on the crew but proves that you don\u2019t need big paws to have big dreams or big ideas.\u00a0<em>Pupstruction\u00a0<\/em>has already been picked up for a second season.<\/p>\n<p>Braun, creator and executive producer, says the concept was inspired by his own childhood, which included growing up in an auto-racing family. \u201cIt\u2019s about doing these jobs, building things and fixing things, but it always comes down to that core family unit,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n<div style=\"display: block; position: relative; max-width: 690px;\">\n \t                <div style=\"padding-top: 56.2504%;\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<video data-video-id=\"6328959348112\" \n\t\t\t\t\tdata-account=\"1120308147\" \n\t\t\t\t\tdata-player=\"default\" \n\t\t\t\t\tdata-embed=\"default\" \n\t\t\t\t\tdata-application-id \n\t\t\t\t\tclass=\"video-js\" \n\t\t\t\t\tcontrols=\"\"\n                    loop autoplay\n\t\t\t\t\tstyle=\"width: 100%; height: 100%; position: absolute; top: 0px; bottom: 0px; right: 0px; left: 0px;\"><\/div><\/video>\n\t\t\t\t\t<script src=\"\/\/players.brightcove.net\/1120308147\/default_default\/index.min.js\"><\/script><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The series highlights themes of teamwork, family, community, creative problem-solving and the importance of imaginative play. \u201cA big part of what we try to convey in the show is that it\u2019s not about how big you are; it\u2019s about how big you dream,\u201d says Braun.<\/p>\n<p>Braun also serves as creator and executive producer on Disney Junior\u2019s hit series\u00a0<em>T.O.T.S.<\/em>, with additional credits such as the Disney Channel limited series\u00a0<em>Fast Layne<\/em>\u00a0and Disney Junior\u2019s\u00a0<em>Vampirina<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Puppy Dog Pals<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Muppet Babies<\/em>. \u201cI follow the simple guiding principal of: just play,\u201d Braun says. \u201cWhenever we\u2019re in the writers\u2019 room or at any stage of making a show, I ask myself, Is this fun? Is this playful? Does it have that energy? If it doesn\u2019t, we throw it out; there\u2019s no place for it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Braun has extended his overall deal with Disney to develop and produce animated and live-action content across linear and streaming platforms for Disney Branded Television. The deal also includes a first look at any of Braun\u2019s projects for other Disney-owned platforms. \u201cDisney has been such a great creative partner,\u201d he says. \u201cThere\u2019s a sense of, if we\u2019re going to do something, we\u2019re going to make it great.
