Warner Bros. Discovery is rebranding its Boomerang kids\u2019 channel to Cartoonito in Southeast Asia, Taiwan and Hong Kong as of July 28.<\/p>\n
The move follows on positive feedback to the Cartoonito-branded block on Boomerang and Cartoon Network launched in 2022. The rebrand is focused on being more inclusive to preschool-aged viewers.<\/p>\n
Modern preschool adaptations that support children\u2019s potential include fan-favorite franchises such as Batwheels and Bugs Bunny Builders. Boomerang favorites such as Tom & Jerry<\/em>, Baby Looney Tunes<\/em>, Alice & Lewis<\/em>, Pat the Dog<\/em>\u00a0and Grizzy and the Lemmings<\/em> will remain on the channel, alongside Dino Ranch<\/em>, Mumfie<\/em> and Tangranimals<\/em>. Brand-new shows include Mittens & Pants<\/em> and Vida the Vet<\/em>.<\/p>\n All Cartoonito shows follow a curriculum\u2014designed by early childhood education expert Dr. Laura Brown\u2014to form the four pillars of creativity, caring, curiosity and courage. The brand aims to inspire kids aged 2 to 6 to use their imagination, learn from their mistakes and treat others with empathy and respect.<\/p>\n The channel is available in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Thai, Bahasa Malaysia and Bahasa Indonesia.<\/p>\n Christopher Ho, head of kids networks for Southeast Asia, Warner Bros.
