Irish animation studio Kavaleer Productions has hired producers Alan Keane and Geraldine Weber to aid in its growth phase.<\/p>\n
Keane, who has been appointed development producer, most recently served as head writer and executive story editor on the TV adaptation of Sony Animation\u2019s feature film franchise Open Season<\/em>. Weber, who has been tapped as producer, has worked on 3D animated series such as Stinky & Dirty<\/em>, Eva the Owlet<\/em>, Chico Bon Bon Monkey<\/em> and more.<\/p>\n The two producers join after a busy year for Kavaleer, which earned 15 award nominations, including one BAFTA, two Royal Television Society awards, one Broadcast Award, ten Irish Animation Awards and one Pulcinella Award.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are thrilled to welcome Alan and Ger to the development and production team and excited to introduce them to our colleagues and clients at MIFA,\u201d said Andrew Kavanagh, CEO. \u201cIt is a truly exceptional time to be strategizing to embrace and adapt to the unprecedented challenges and opportunities in the content landscape over the next few years, and we feel fortunate to have these brilliant professionals join our growing team.
