Most recently, he was director of production at Brown Bag Films and oversaw the success of <em>Karma\u2019s World<\/em>, <em>Eva the Owlet<\/em> and more.<\/p>\n<p>Tyrrell\u2019s appointment is part of Boulder Media\u2019s growth strategy, which will see the company scaling and seeking artists to work on its new slate of prime-time, family and kids\u2019 animated productions, including the upcoming <em>Grimsburg<\/em>, an animated sitcom featuring Jon Hamm.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout his career, Tyrrell has earned Emmy and BAFTA nominations, as well as recognition from the Producers Guild of America and the Irish Film and Television Academy (IFTA). He has also won an Irish Animation Award.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHaving admired the work of Boulder Media for many years, I am delighted to join the team at such an exciting juncture as it adds a new specialty of prime-time adult comedy, including high-end projects such as <em>Grimsburg<\/em> and <em>Krapopolis<\/em> for FOX,\u201d Tyrrell said. \u201cTogether with my new Boulder Media colleagues, I look forward to many exciting meetings at Annecy International Animation Film Festival next month, where the wider industry gathers each year for an inspiring week celebrating all things animation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jenni MacNeaney, general manager of Boulder Media, said, \u201cWe\u2019re delighted to welcome Colm to the Boulder crew, and we look forward to further expanding our brand in the market, building on our impressive catalogue of shows with his support, guidance, and expertise.
