Hoho Entertainment has launched its own dedicated app for kids, Bubblebox, featuring four of the indie producer’s most popular titles.<\/p>\n

Featuring Cloudbabies<\/em>, Shane the Chef<\/em> and S4C properties Hana\u2019s Helpline<\/em> and Chickpea & Friends<\/em>, the child-targeted app will offer on-demand viewing of episodes plus a mix of interactive games and activities based on the shows.<\/p>\n

The app is initially available on the Apple store in multiple territories. Content will be in English but will expand to service other languages soon.<\/p>\n

Hoho\u2019s partner in the creation of the app is German company Wonderz.<\/p>\n

Helen Howells, joint managing director of Hoho, said: \u201cLaunching Bubblebox, our first proprietary children\u2019s content app, is the next step in our long-term digital strategy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harriet Jones, head of digital and retail at Hoho, added: \u201cNow kids will be able to engage with our shows whenever they like, wherever they are. The app\u2019s appealing mix of content, from full episodes to fun songs and other activities, will enable them to connect even more closely with their favorite shows and characters.\u201d<\/p>\n
