The live-action tween series Spellbound<\/em> has been picked up by CBC\/Radio-Canada for English and French audiences.<\/p>\n

Created by the same showrunners of the hit series Find Me in Paris<\/em>, Spellbound<\/em> interweaves the worlds of ballet, magic, witchcraft and more. The show will launch on CBC Gem later this year and on ICI TOU.TV during the 2023-24 broadcast season.<\/p>\n

Spellbound<\/em> is produced by Cottonwood Media in co-production with Op\u00e9ra national de Paris and ZDF Studios, as well as ZDF, France T\u00e9l\u00e9visions and U.S. streamer Hulu.<\/p>\n

Federation Kids & Family and ZDF Studios are handling worldwide sales.<\/p>\n

Marie McCann, senior director of children\u2019s content for CBC, commented: \u201cThe team at CBC Kids is excited to see Spellbound<\/em> come to life. We believe that kids will be attracted to Spellbound<\/em> as much as were reading the pitch. It has all the ingredients to become another success, and Radio-Canada is proud to bring this series to its audiences!\u201d<\/p>\n
