DreamWorks Animation alum Philippe Gluckman has been tapped to serve as creative director for India at DNEG Animation.<\/p>\n
Gluckman will oversee the creative output of the DNEG Animation teams in India, working closely with the global management team to ensure that the studio\u2019s work continues to be delivered to the highest levels of quality.<\/p>\n
Additionally, he will focus on the artist experience, facilitating collaboration, communication and innovation while maintaining and enhancing the supportive environment DNEG Animation has created for its artists in India.<\/p>\n
Gluckman spent almost 15 years at DreamWorks Animation in California, as a visual effects supervisor on projects such as Antz<\/em>, Shrek <\/em>and\u00a0Madagascar<\/em>, before relocating to India in 2008 as creative director of DreamWorks\u2019f dedicated unit in Bangalore. In this role, Gluckman oversaw the creative and technical execution of animated movies such as Penguins of Madagascar<\/em>, Puss in Boots<\/em>, Trolls<\/em> and Boss Baby<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cI am so pleased to welcome Philippe to our wonderfully talented team in India,\u201d said Tom Jacomb, president of DNEG Animation. \u201cI had the pleasure of working with Philippe during our time together at DreamWorks, on projects such as Puss in Boots<\/em> and Rise of the Guardians<\/em>, and I witnessed firsthand the talent and care that he brings to his work.
