Guru Studio\u2019s Frank Falcone, DeAPlaneta Entertainment\u2019s Carlos Biern, CAKE\u2019s Ed Galton and Big Bad Boo Studios\u2019 Shabnam Rezaei will share their perspectives on financing shows during a panel session taking place during the TV Kids Festival, which is open for registration<\/a> free of charge.<\/p>\n

Falcone serves as the president and executive creative director of Guru. Biern is currently the director of content and distribution for kids and family at DeAPlaneta. Galton serves as the CEO of CAKE. Rezaei is the co-founder of Big Bad Boo. Together, they will discuss what it takes to finance a children\u2019s show in today\u2019s economy.<\/p>\n

These executives join the TV Kids Festival roster alongside previously announced speakers Nelvana\u2019s Athena Georgaklis; Cyber Group Studios\u2019 Ira Singerman; Sesame Workshop\u2019s Kay Wilson Stallings; Boat Rocker Studios\u2019 Shaleen Sangha; 9 Story Media Group\u2019s Vince Commisso; WildBrain\u2019s Eric Ellenbogen; Banijay Kids & Family\u2019s Beno\u00eet Di Sabatino; Doc McStuffins<\/em>\u2019 Chris Nee; Star Trek: Prodigy<\/em>\u2019s Kevin and Dan Hageman; Gabby\u2019s Dollhouse<\/em>\u2019s Traci Paige Johnson and Jennifer Twomey; Emma Memma<\/em>\u2019s Emma Watkins; and First Day<\/em>\u2019s Julie Kalceff and Kirsty Stark. Taking place from February 7 to 10, the TV Kids Festival will feature keynotes and panels with leading executives and creatives discussing the major trends in the children\u2019s programming business. It will be streamed live and available on-demand on TVKidsFestival.com. Unlike other events requiring hefty registration fees, attendance to the TV Kids Festival is free<\/u>. The inaugural festival attracted more than 1,700 participants.<\/p>\n
