GoldBee has closed a raft of international sales for season one of Sphere Animation and Studio Bozzetto\u2019s The Game Catchers<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In the U.K., CBeebies acquired all linear rights and iPlayer rights exclusively. The Game Catchers<\/em> will be voiced by British actors for the channel, where it will debut in the spring.<\/p>\n

RT\u00c9 picked up the free-to-air and non-linear rights for the Republic of Ireland, while \u010cesk\u00e1 televize bought the free-to-air rights for the Czech Republic. This marks the sixth public-service broadcast deal for the series.<\/p>\n

In Asia, Taiwan\u2019s Momokids acquired the series for both its linear pay-TV and SVOD services.<\/p>\n

The Game Catchers<\/em> was previously picked up by broadcasters such as Italy\u2019s Rai Yoyo and Canada\u2019s Ici Radio-Canada T\u00e9l\u00e9, both co-producers of the series; Canada\u2019s The Knowledge Network and Toon-a-Vision; Finland\u2019s Yle; Spain and Portugal\u2019s Canal Panda; Singapore\u2019s MediaCorp; Hong Kong\u2019s PCCW; and China\u2019s Wing Sight.<\/p>\n

The Game Catchers<\/em> follows a group of five friends as they go on an interstellar journey to explore unique planets with the aim of learning about, playing and collecting playground games so that they are never lost.<\/p>\n

Following the series\u2019 successful launch last year, Rai Kids and ICI Radio-Canada T\u00e9l\u00e9 commissioned a second season of 52 new episodes.<\/p>\n
