Former Wiggles member Emma Watkins, who is now launching her new show Emma Memma<\/em>, and Julie Kalceff and Kirsty Stark, creatives behind the Australian series First Day<\/em>, are among the speakers taking part in the TV Kids Festival, which will run from February 7 to 10 and can be registered for here<\/a> for free.<\/p>\n

Watkins has been performing as a dancer since the age of 3. Her passion for movement later expanded to an interest in sign language, and she earned a Diploma of Auslan (Australian Sign Language) and is currently studying a Diploma in Interpreting and her Ph.D., focusing on the artistic integrations of sign language, dance and film editing. Earlier this year, she debuted the character Emma Memma and is developing Emma Memma: Sing. Dance. Sign. <\/em><\/p>\n

Kalceff is the creator, writer, director and co-producer of First Day<\/em>, which won an International Emmy Award, Rose d\u2019Or, GLAAD Media Award and was nominated for two AACTA Awards for its first season. Season two was nominated for the Emmy Award for Outstanding Young Teen Series. Stark produces the series through her production company Epic Films.<\/p>\n

The TV Kids Festival will feature keynotes and panels with leading executives and creatives discussing the major trends in the children\u2019s programming business. It will be streamed live and available on-demand on TVKidsFestival.com. Unlike other events requiring hefty registration fees, attendance to the TV Kids Festival is free<\/u>. The inaugural festival attracted more than 1,700 participants.<\/p>\n
