{"id":24289,"date":"2022-12-08T09:00:17","date_gmt":"2022-12-08T14:00:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/worldscreen.com\/"},"modified":"2022-12-08T09:15:03","modified_gmt":"2022-12-08T14:15:03","slug":"disney-branded-tv-extends-deal-with-tim-federle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/disney-branded-tv-extends-deal-with-tim-federle\/","title":{"rendered":"Disney Branded TV Extends Deal with Tim Federle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Disney Branded Television has extended its multiyear overall deal with producer Tim Federle and his Chorus Boy Productions banner.<\/p>\n<p>Chorus Boy currently has five Emmy Award nominations for <em>High School Musical: The Musical: The Series<\/em>, created and executive produced by Federle, and eight for <em>Better Nate Than Ever<\/em>, a film that he wrote, directed and executive produced based on his own best-selling novel.<\/p>\n<p>Federle has named two creative executives for Chorus Boy Productions projects. Bronwyn North-Reist, formerly executive director of development for Disney Branded Television, will serve as head of creative for Chorus Boy. Jennie Frisbie, Federle\u2019s longtime manager, will develop and produce creative content for Chorus Boy while continuing to manage talent at Authentic Talent &amp; Literary.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTim is a visionary leader with an unparalleled instinct for developing stories and characters that resonate deeply with teen and young adult audiences,\u201d said Ayo Davis, president of Disney Branded Television. \u201cHe is a cherished member of our Disney Branded Television family, and I couldn&#8217;t be happier to have the opportunity to continue to tell great stories together.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Federle said, \u201cIt is an honor to keep making shows and movies at a company that I consider to be the ultimate \u2018magic kingdom.\u2019 I&#8217;m thankful to Dana Walden, Craig Erwich, Ayo Davis and Charlie Andrews for their belief in me and for the force that is Bronwyn North-Reist and Jennie Frisbie, who are the best storyteller-whisperers I could be partnering with on this next adventure.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>North-Reist said, \u201cI&#8217;ve known Tim since <em>High School Musical: The Musical: The Series<\/em> was nothing more than an absurdly long title.
