{"id":24206,"date":"2022-11-22T10:01:10","date_gmt":"2022-11-22T15:01:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/sky-launching-ad-free-kids-channel\/"},"modified":"2022-11-22T12:26:47","modified_gmt":"2022-11-22T17:26:47","slug":"sky-launching-ad-free-kids-channel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/sky-launching-ad-free-kids-channel\/","title":{"rendered":"Sky Launching Ad-Free Kids&#8217; Channel"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sky Kids is launching a new ad-free 24-hour linear channel in February 2023 dedicated to kids ages 1 to 7.<\/p>\n<p>Available at no extra cost for Sky TV customers with Sky Kids and NOW Entertainment Members, the channel will feature new originals as well as franchise favorites such as <em>Trolls: TrollsTopia<\/em>, <em>Clifford the Big Red Dog<\/em> and <em>Morph<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The programming will span themes of learning and doing, arts and crafts, music, dance and fitness, and more, with a slate of brand-new Sky originals set to air. This includes Fearne Cotton executive producing <em>My Friend Misty<\/em> (ages 5 to 7).<\/p>\n<p>Cotton said: \u201cI&#8217;m very excited for you all to meet <em>My Friend Misty<\/em>. This show will introduce us to a host of characters and situations where differing emotions crop up. Misty is always on hand to help the children in the show through their emotions whilst causing a little mischief along the way. It&#8217;s a fun, colorful and explorative show for both kids and parents. It&#8217;s a very exciting first Happy Place co-production&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Also launching next year as a new Sky original, <em>Ready, Eddie, Go!<\/em> (ages 3-plus) is based on the loveable character Eddie who is autistic. There&#8217;s also <em>Dino Club<\/em> (ages 4-plus).<\/p>\n<p>Lucy Murphy, director of kids&#8217;s content at Sky, said: \u201cWe\u2019re so excited to announce the launch of our brand-new linear channel.
