There are 20 new 11-minute episodes launching for the season.<\/p>\n<p>The show is made with the support of the BFI\u2019s Young Audiences Content Fund. Don Warrington and Sally Lindsay feature in the show, which is created and written by Chris Heath.<\/p>\n<p>S4C also recommissioned <em>Byd Tad-cu<\/em>, the Welsh-language version of the show starring Danny Grehan and made in co-production with partner Boom Cymru.<\/p>\n<p>Executive producer and managing director of Saffron Cherry, Caroline Roberts Cherry, said:\u00a0&#8220;We are delighted to bring <em>Grandpa<\/em> back to entertain and educate for another twenty episodes. Engaging young audiences with silly stories and then sowing the seeds for them to learn the real answers to their questions is a privilege and a pleasure.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It\u2018s a fantastic, innovative show which has proven to be a massive hit with both preschoolers and families,&#8221; added Louise Bucknole, general manager and VP of kids and family for the U.K. and Ireland at Paramount Global. &#8220;Series two will build on this success that has creatively engaged a generation of grandparents and grandchildren with its incredibly funny storytelling and takeaway facts, winning multiple awards in the process. We look forward to entertaining our young audience with a second helping of Grandpa\u2019s outlandish tales and Halifax being on hand to tell them the truth!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sally Lindsay, creative director at Saffron Cherry, said: \u201cI just love this show! We\u2019re so proud of it as a company, and I wish it all the success in the world.
