The tween live-action series Theodosia<\/em> has been greenlit for a second season by producer Cottonwood Media and German broadcaster ZDF.<\/p>\n

Titled Theodosia and the Oasis of Magic<\/em>, the new season is set against the backdrop of Edwardian London and Egypt. Season two will feature a further 26 half-hours, bringing the series total to 52 episodes.<\/p>\n

Theodosia and the Oasis of Magic<\/em> is co-distributed internationally by Federation Kids & Family and ZDF Studios.<\/p>\n

Nicole Keeb, head of international co-productions and acquisitions for children and youth at ZDF, said: \u201cThe mixture of adventure and suspense in old Egypt and Victorian London is breathtaking, and season two will dive even deeper into this fascinating universe.\u201d<\/p>\n

Arne Lohmann, VP Junior, ZDF Studios, added: \u201cWe are delighted that millions of children all over the world have fallen in love with Theodosia<\/em> and are eagerly waiting for this new season. \u201d<\/p>\n
