Omens Studios has expanded its U.K. team, hiring Rob Doherty as senior VP of business development.<\/p>\n
Doherty, who has worked on such productions as Angry Birds: Summer Madness<\/em> and Mama K’s Team 4<\/em>, joins the animation outfit, which has bases in Singapore and Malaysia, to lead project development and forge relationships with co-production and broadcast partners, with an initial focus on properties developed in the U.K. and Europe.<\/p>\n The venture has also announced that Matteo Ceccotti, who is working at Omens Studios as director, will be joining the 123 Number Squad!<\/em> project. The preschool series begins airing in the U.K. in February of next year on Sky and NOW.<\/p>\n Chi Sim Tang, CEO of Omens Studios, stated:\u00a0 \u201cOur London office is our anchor in the U.K. and gateway to Europe, and we are excited to be expanding both our business and creative teams to further develop our slate of projects and collaborate with new partners.
