Jetpack Distribution has secured rights for the animated series Kung Fu Pork Choppers<\/em> from the global licensing company Centa IP.<\/p>\n

The deal comprises two seasons of 52×11-minute episodes. The CGI animated comedy-action-adventure series is targeted at 4- to 8-year-olds. The show follows a team of five galactic out-of-this-world pigs in space and their super-powered Splaximal pets, transformed by the slimy substance \u201cSplaxis\u201d from the cutest creatures to mega-sized fighting machines.<\/p>\n

The original series GG Bond<\/em> (meaning Pig Hero in Chinese) launched in China in 2005 and has been consistently in the top five rated shows every year since.<\/p>\n

The first three seasons of Kung Fu Pork Choppers<\/em> are produced by China-based Winsing in collaboration with CraneKahn. Winsing Animation Group, the Chinese commissioning platform, has committed to at least 300 episodes, which will see multiple seasons of the hit series produced.<\/p>\n

For the L&M program, all rights are handled by Centa IP.<\/p>\n
