{"id":23751,"date":"2022-09-09T10:18:07","date_gmt":"2022-09-09T14:18:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/paramount-anz-launch-ultimate-classroom\/"},"modified":"2022-09-09T10:18:07","modified_gmt":"2022-09-09T14:18:07","slug":"paramount-anz-to-launch-ultimate-classroom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/paramount-anz-to-launch-ultimate-classroom\/","title":{"rendered":"Paramount ANZ to Launch Ultimate Classroom"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Paramount Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) has partnered with the Australian Government and Defence Force Recruiting via UM Australia and Mediabrands Content Studio for the new series <em>Ultimate Classroom<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The series sees 18 of Australia\u2019s brightest high school STEM students fly drones, build bridges, decipher codes and more to become the champion. They will be guided by WooTube creator Eddie Woo, TV presenter and gaming guru Stephanie Bendixsen and STEM specialists from the Australian Defence Force.<\/p>\n<p>The Paramount ANZ original series is created and produced by Paramount ANZ\u2019s in-house creative and production team, Imagine. It is set to premiere on September 11 on 10 Shake and 10 Play.<\/p>\n<p>Brigadier Duncan Hayward, director general of Defence Force Recruiting (DFR), said: \u201cDefence Force Recruiting are excited to partner with Paramount ANZ to produce the <em>Ultimate Classroom<\/em> TV program. For DFR, this partnership aims to address misperceptions that the ADF is an employer of \u2018brawn over brains,\u2019 holding back prospective candidates from considering a STEM career in the ADF. DFR\u2019s partnership with the <em>Ultimate Classroom<\/em> will raise awareness of ADF STEM capability and the variety of roles available.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Michael Stanford, head of Imagine and national creative director of Paramount ANZ, said: \u201c<em>Ultimate Classroom<\/em> truly demonstrates the power of long-form content to tell a story that informs, engages, entertains and even challenges misperceptions. Teamwork is an overused word, but in this case, it couldn&#8217;t have been more accurate\u2014not just for how well the students worked together but also the team at the DFR, Mediabrands Content Studio and Paramount ANZ who brought this program to life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Emma Wood, senior client director at UM, added: \u201cA campaign like this needed a different approach to engage our audience and allow us to showcase the range of opportunities on offer to work within a cutting-edge environment, using some of the world\u2019s most sophisticated tech.
