Toronto-based Guru Studio has hired Sue Jung to be its head of talent acquisition and community engagement.<\/p>\n

In her new position, Jung will lead the company\u2019s overall recruitment process, including new hires, internal moves and internships across all productions and corporate roles. She will work closely with the studio\u2019s senior leadership team and all hiring managers to attract and nurture talent and champion Guru\u2019s internal community initiatives such as mentorship and training programs for artists.<\/p>\n

Jung will report to Babita Jassal, VP of people and culture at Guru. She comes to the company with 15 years of experience leading studio operations and talent management for companies such as Soho VFX, Snowball Studios and Toonbox Entertainment.<\/p>\n

Jassal said: \u201cTogether with our incredible people and culture team, Sue will ensure we continue to attract and nurture top global talent, while championing our amazing studio culture.\u201d<\/p>\n
