{"id":23642,"date":"2022-08-18T09:23:03","date_gmt":"2022-08-18T13:23:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/moley-creators-launch-two-daughters-entertainment\/"},"modified":"2022-08-18T12:51:48","modified_gmt":"2022-08-18T16:51:48","slug":"moley-creators-launch-two-daughters-entertainment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/moley-creators-launch-two-daughters-entertainment\/","title":{"rendered":"Moley Creators Launch Two Daughters Entertainment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The creators of <em>Moley<\/em> have set up a brand-new production company, Two Daughters Entertainment.<\/p>\n<p>The launch of the new venture comes as Jetpack Distribution has signed a deal with China\u2019s Jetsen Huashi and Polish public-service broadcaster TVP for the property.<\/p>\n<p>The sub-distribution deal with Jetsen Huashi will bring <em>Moley<\/em> to screens across China. The acquisition includes the linear, digital and VOD rights to distribute the animated series to all the main TV and digital platforms across China. It will be broadcast in Mandarin Chinese and English languages.<\/p>\n<p>Poland\u2019s TVP secured the rights to the series and the 30-minute special <em>Master Moley: By Royal Invitation<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Two Daughters Entertainment is currently working on a slate of three brand-new entertainment properties to be produced and released over the next five years.<\/p>\n<p>The company has bolstered the production team, adding executive producer Bonnie Arnold (Walt Disney Feature Animation, Pixar Animation Studios, DreamWorks Animation, <em>Toy Story<\/em>, <em>How to Train Your Dragon<\/em>), who will work alongside producer Tony Nottage (<em>Saving Santa<\/em>, <em>Moley<\/em>, <em>Master Moley<\/em>) and director Leon Joosen (<em>Space Jam<\/em>, <em>Muppet Babies<\/em>, <em>The Little Mermaid<\/em>, <em>Scooby-Doo<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>The company also recently appointed Andreea Spasova, who has over 14 years of experience in kids\u2019 entertainment at Warner Media, as its head of marketing and PR.<\/p>\n<p>James Reatchlous, founder and managing director at Two Daughters Entertainment, commented: \u201cI never dreamed that the bedtime story I told my two daughters would come to life and turn out to be such a success. I am very proud of how far we have come with <em>Moley<\/em> and very excited to now work on three more animated shows, which I think will really surprise and wow the industry.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jetpack\u2019s CEO, Dominic Gardiner, added: \u201cIt\u2019s a great privilege to be taking <em>Moley<\/em> to China. The show has some truly universal themes, funny, engaging and enticing for kids and families across the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He continued: \u201cChina is an exciting market with huge potential, and we are very pleased to be working with Jetsen Huashi, a brilliant partner to help us bring more shows to this part of the world.
