{"id":23554,"date":"2022-07-29T09:27:17","date_gmt":"2022-07-29T13:27:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/angry-birds-gets-live-interactive-theatrical-production\/"},"modified":"2022-07-29T13:04:05","modified_gmt":"2022-07-29T17:04:05","slug":"angry-birds-gets-live-interactive-theatrical-production","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/angry-birds-gets-live-interactive-theatrical-production\/","title":{"rendered":"Angry Birds Gets Live Interactive Theatrical Production"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kilburn Live and Rovio Entertainment have collaborated on a new touring interactive theatrical production, <em>Angry Birds Live: The Slingshot Adventure<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>In a partnership facilitated by Angry Birds\u2019 global licensing agency IMG, North America\u2019s first-ever interactive touring Angry Birds stage show will feature popular characters from the movies as they embark on a misadventure in a new world rife with challenging situations.<\/p>\n<p>Gameplay elements will be integrated into the live production, so the audience will uniquely help dictate the outcome of the show.<\/p>\n<p>Kilburn and Rovio secured the writing service of veteran Hollywood screenwriters James Johnston and Bennet Yellin (<em>Dumb and Dumber<\/em>, <em>Stuck on You<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p><em>Angry Birds Live: The Slingshot Adventure<\/em> will begin touring North America in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Angry Birds Live: The Slingshot Adventure<\/em> is a landmark production and interactive theatrical experience that allows the audience to participate and impact the outcome of the story in a way that has never been done before,\u201d said Mark Manuel, CEO of Kilburn Live. \u201cWe are going to once again push the boundaries of live entertainment and allow the audience to catapult objects onto the stage during the performance that will impact the outcome of the show.
