Nickelodeon Latin America\u2019s Migdalis Silva and Grupo Globo\u2019s Luiz Filipe Figueira are set to take part in a conversation about the competitive kids\u2019 media landscape in Latin America as part of the TV Kids Summer Festival, which you can register for here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Silva is VP and brand lead for Nickelodeon Latin America based in Miami. Figueira is the head of programming and content strategy for Grupo Globo\u2019s kids\u2019 linear channels. Together, the executives will discuss the children\u2019s programming landscape in LatAm.<\/p>\n

Silva and Figueira join the TV Kids Summer Festival roster alongside previously announced speakers Nickelodeon\u2019s Jules Borkent, BBC\u2019s Patricia Hidalgo, Super RTL\u2019s Thorsten Braun, Warner Bros.\u2019 Amy Friedman, Paramount\u2019s Layla Lewis, POP Channels\u2019 Francesca Newington, Sensical\u2019s Bethany Boles, De Agostini Editore\u2019s Brenda Maffuchi, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder<\/em>\u2019s Bruce W. Smith, Nelvana\u2019s Pam Westman, ZDF Studios\u2019 Katharina Pietzsch, The Jim Henson Company\u2019s Halle Stanford, Gaumont\u2019s Nicolas Atlan, Sesame Workshop\u2019s Ed Wells and Kay Wilson Stallings, Jetpack Distribution\u2019s Dominic Gardiner, Serious Kids\u2019 Genevieve Dexter, Cyber Group Studios\u2019 Rapha\u00eblle Mathieu, MIAM! animation\u2019s Hanna Mouchez, Monster Entertainment\u2019s Andrew Fitzpatrick, WildBrain\u2019s Caroline Tyre and Guru Studio\u2019s Jonathan Abraham.<\/p>\n

The TV Kids Summer Festival will feature keynotes and panels with leading executives and creatives discussing the major trends in the children\u2019s programming business. It will be streamed live and available on-demand on TVKidsSummerFestival.com. Unlike other events requiring hefty registration fees, attendance to the TV Kids Summer Festival is free. The inaugural festival attracted more than 1,700 participants.<\/p>\n
