Global Screen has acquired the feature film The Last Whale Singer for global distribution and will present it for presales at the March\u00e9 du Film.<\/p>\n
In the animated family film, Vincent, the son of the last whale singer, must venture to the deepest sea to summon his mystical song, which is essential for the ocean\u2019s survival. When Vincent\u2019s father dies, he doubts his own ability to defeat the evil and undertakes a dangerous journey to bring his father back.<\/p>\n
Written and directed by Reza Memari (Richard the Stork<\/em>), The Last Whale Singer<\/em> is produced by Maite Wok\u00f6ck (My Fairy Troublemaker<\/em>). Memari and Wok\u00f6ck are co-CEOs of Telescope Animation.<\/p>\n The film’s characters are based on designs by Uwe Heidsch\u00f6tter (Revolting Rhymes<\/em>, Missing Link<\/em>, ZOG<\/em>).
