{"id":22137,"date":"2022-01-11T09:00:22","date_gmt":"2022-01-11T14:00:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/worldscreen.com\/"},"modified":"2022-01-11T09:31:10","modified_gmt":"2022-01-11T14:31:10","slug":"cyber-group-studios-scores-new-international-partners","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/cyber-group-studios-scores-new-international-partners\/","title":{"rendered":"Cyber Group Studios Scores New International Partners"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cyber Group Studios has signed new deals that will bring 16 of its distributed series to viewers across Europe, Asia, Africa and North America.<\/p>\n<p>The new agreements follow Cyber Group&#8217;s successful launch of three series late last year, including <em>Squared Zebra<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Nefertine on the Nile\u00a0<\/em>and <em>The Last Kids on Earth.\u00a0<\/em>ABC Australia picked up <em>Squared Zebra<\/em>, while \u010cesk\u00e1 TV (Czech Republic) and HOP! (Israel) acquired <em>Nefertine on the Nile\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Lithuania&#8217;s LRT licensed <em>The Last Kids on Earth<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>New partners for Cyber Group Studios are TV3 (Spain) for <em>Ernest and Rebecca<\/em>, <em>The Pirates Next Door<\/em> and<em> Sadie Sparks<\/em>; SIC K (Portugal) for <em>Tom Sawyer<\/em> and <em>Droners<\/em>; MTVA (Hungary) for seasons two and three of <em>Zou<\/em>, <em>Raju the Rickshaw<\/em> and <em>Tom Sawyer<\/em>; LRT (Lithuania) for <em>Mirette Investigates<\/em>, <em>The Pirates Next Door<\/em> and season one of <em>Gigantosaurus<\/em>; \u010cesk\u00e1 TV for<em> Zou<\/em> seasons two and three; AMC Networks International (Central and Northern Europe) for <em>Ernest and Rebecca<\/em>, <em>Zorro: The Chronicles<\/em> and <em>Leo the Wildlife Ranger<\/em>; and RTBF (Belgium) for <em>Sadie Sparks<\/em> and <em>Ernest and Rebecca<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>A raft of deals was also signed with Canal+ for several of its international channels. In Myanmar, a deal for <em>Mirette Investigates<\/em>, <em>L<\/em><em>eo the Wildlife Ranger<\/em> and <em>Purple Turtle<\/em> was signed, and in Ethiopia, an agreement was made for <em>Zou<\/em>, <em>Mini Ninjas<\/em> and <em>Zorro: The Chronicles<\/em> for the THEMA channel.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Cyber Group Studios secured an SVOD service deal with Bell Media for English- and French-speaking VOD rights for <em>The Pirates Next Door<\/em>, <em>Mini Ninjas<\/em>, <em>Sadie Sparks<\/em> and <em>Zorro: The Chronicles<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Raphaelle Mathieu, senior VP of sales and acquisitions and new media at Cyber Group Studios, said, \u201cWe\u2019re very pleased to be working with so many of the world\u2019s leading broadcast and streaming partners that share our commitment to providing quality children\u2019s programming to kids and families everywhere.
