IN10 Media Network’s kids’ channel Gubbare is set to launch Akki Jaanbaaz<\/em>, its first original, on December 27.<\/p>\n

Produced by Toonz Animation, the series centers on Akki, a 9-year-old magical martial arts superhero who must find a balance between his normal life and his superhero persona.<\/p>\n

Akki Jaanbaaz<\/em> will air in Hindi, English, Tamil and Telugu.<\/p>\n

Gubbare also has two more original titles in the pipeline. Roro aur Hero\u2014Bhoot mast! Zabardast<\/em> and Akul aur Nakul\u2014The Asuras<\/em> both explore the themes of friendship, family and good vs. evil.<\/p>\n

Brian D\u2019Costa, AVP of content and strategy at Gubbare, said, \u201cSince its launch in 2020, Gubbare has kept kids at the core\u2014be it the characters or stories. The launch of the IPs is a significant milestone for us as we move toward garnering a larger share of the viewership pie.\u201d<\/p>\n
